Larry Berg Flight Path Park,
Vancouver International Airport.
Larry Berg — Flight Path Park is named for the retiring CEO of the Vancouver Airport Authority, to honour his legacy with community oriented amenities that also celebrate the wonder of air travel. The central feature of the park, a hemisphere of a globe, creates a natural gathering point for friends and family, as well as a location for interpretive elements that invite visitors to discover more about aviation.
Flight Path Park has been designed to provide an opportunity for viewing the planes taking off and landing at YVR and to create a community gathering place. The central feature of the park, the globe, celebrates YVR’s role in connecting people from all over the world through dynamic and informative interpretive graphics.
KEI Space working collaboratively with ken Heit Creative was in charge of the Design and Project Management of the interpretive aspect of the project.
